Not sure why but I am suddenly reminded of a certain point in my life that is rife with specific unpleasant memories.
Whenever this happens, I always go back to this song and put it on repeat so that I can drown myself in my own memories; relive the pain and turmoil that slowly unfolded in front of my naive younger-self.
This song causes me great pain but it also helps to stitch together a wound in the rare times that it opens up.
One thing’s for certain, even after two years, the emotional wound hasn’t fully healed.
